Blog Tour Review&Giveaway:Reflect Me by K.B. Webb

Synopsis:If you're looking for a story about a sweet, innocent virgin who rides off into the sunset with a reformed bad boy, then you're looking in the wrong place.

Some people don’t get a happily ever after. Molly Scott is one of those people, and she knows it. With the kind of past that she has, and the secrets that she holds, she knows that even if she found Prince Charming, he wouldn’t want her. She refuses to dwell on her less than ideal situation though. This is her life, no point in complaining.

Logan Wade had his life planned out, until all his dreams came crashing down around him. Now, he’s come back to the town he swore he would never see again to start fresh. He has no plans to ever settle down again, that’s how he ended up back here in the first place.

When Molly and Logan meet, they are forced to rethink the lives they thought they knew and the futures they were so sure they wanted. Suddenly, Molly wonders if there is a better life outside of the hell she has built for herself, and Logan begins to rethink his resistance towards settling down again.

They say love conquers all, but Molly and Logan are about to find out that sometimes love just isn’t enough.

Excerpt:
“That’s what walls are for, Logan, to keep people out. Did you ever think that there’s a reason I have walls? That some pretty fucked up shit has happened in my life to make me this way.? Do you really want a friend like that?” I looked at him, daring him to say he really wanted this. That he could handle all the shit that came with being part of my life.
“Yeah, yeah I do, Molly. Believe it or not, I’m pretty fucked up myself. I mean, hell, my life sure as shit isn’t all rainbows and daisies and I know yours isn’t either. But if you let me be your friend, Molly, let me help you, maybe we can find out what the rainbows and daisies look like together.”

Review:
“Logan Wade was going to be the death of me, and my vibrator’s batteries!”

Loved it!
It was beautifully written; deep and heartfelt.

“You’re a lot stronger than you think you are. Something just tells me you needed to hear that.” -Logan

Reflect Me is a story about triumph and sticking up for yourself. Molly is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Brian, who also just so happens to be the father of her child. Brian’s childhood best friend, Logan, is running from his past. While visiting Brian and Justin, Logan and Molly meet for the first time, and things between them were never the same.

Molly hasn’t had it easy in her life. Then when she was in her teens, tragedy strikes and she found herself just living day to day up until she got pregnant with her daughter, Lyric. If you want to find out more about Lyric, I am afraid you’re going to have to read the book!

“I would never think you were a fat ass, because your ass is amazing. I’m going to call you Cookie because that’s what you are. You are the best kind of cookie there is; a little hard on the outside, but sweet and soft on the inside, mouthwatering, made to perfection, and I could eat you all day long and never get sick of you.” –Logan

My heart physically hurt for Molly because of the things she had to endure being with Brian. Not only does he beat her, he is emotionally and verbally abusive as well. I was able to relate because I’ve also had a boyfriend who beat me down but with words, and made me feel weak. I don’t wish that type of pain on anyone. Emotional scars never really do seem to go away.

Molly and Logan begin a friendship but just as quickly fall in love. It was a deep love and one that some people take their whole lives to find. I adore the way they treat each other! It’s so sweet.

Once you start reading Reflect Me, you won’t be able to stop. It’s real. Not fluffy at all. The book doesn’t end in a cliffhanger but there will be a second book involving different characters! I can’t tell you how excited that made me!

“I need to be in your life and I need you in mine.”
