New Release Review—Bentley by Melanie Moreland

Review:
Bentley is the first book in the BAM series—he’s formal, uptight and not as cold as I thought. He took me by surprise in the sense of personality. I knew with Bentley we’d be getting a hero who was serious but he was so different than what I expected. For one he wasn’t the typical asshole suit that we always read about. Instead, he was kind, thoughtful, and surprisingly vulnerable—it was what made me love him so much to begin with.

Then we have Emmy—a feisty woman that could make the Grince smile with warmth. She’s a free-spirit who captures the gaze of Bentley. Poor guy had no idea what hit him once Emmy had him in her orbit. We are taken on a sweet ride full of love and sensuality. Bentley and Emmy are such a perfect couple. She really brings out his fun and spontaneous side and I liked how he let his guard down so soon after meeting her.

We are also introduced to Adrian, Maddox, Cami, and Dee. Adrian and Maddox are the other part of BAM—a company they started together. They are more than friends, they’re brothers—family. Much like Emmy is with her two friends, Cami and Dee. I loved the whole dynamics of the friendships and the ultimate pairing off of these friendships. The story was engaging and sexy. I look forward to reading Tree Trunk and Mad Dog—plus more Bentley and Emmy!

Overall, I think Moreland has written a great first book in a series that will leave readers wanting more. These men and the ladies that bring to their knees are bound to be favorites for many.

Blurb:

The leader of the group. He is uptight, formal, and cold. Rigid and set in his ways, always following the same path. Until the day, he stumbles upon her.

Emmy.

She brings with her spontaneity and light. The world she lives in is so different from his, yet he cannot control the draw to her. Nor can he explain the way she makes him feel.

Happy.

Protective.

Loved.
