Review:
OhmyFinn! That was funny, sweet, and hella sexy all rolled up into one. The two main characters, Harlow and Finn, are as charming as ever and you can't help but fall in love with both of them. I knew I was going to love their story so much just from that synopsis. I mean the back of the book clearly promises ex sex for crying out loud!

Harlow and Finn were married for those twelve hours in Vegas but unlike Ansel and Mia, they got the marriage annulled. Aside from a quick trip up to Canada in nothing but a trench coat and some amazing sex, Harlow and Finn haven't had much contact. That is until Finn comes down to San Diego for some business and for the opening of Oliver's hip new comic shop.

Harlow doesn't know whether to be excited that he's there or annoyed. For now, we'll go with annoyed! But come on now, let's not kid ourselves. It's FINN! No woman can resist those eyes and that charm. Not even Miss Harlow. I liked her a lot. She's funny, loyal, and doesn't put up with shit. Plus she's just an all around bad ass, what's not to like about that?

Harlow and Finn are both going through tough situations and the physical relationship was a way to help them forget. They decide on a friends with benefits of some kind but when things get complicated, they remain friends but without those added benefits. What happens when being just friends becomes more than friends though? Where do you draw the line? Will it even be worth all the trouble if you live so far away from each other anyway?

"A girl like you is way more trouble than she's worth. We can have sex, that's fine. But just so we're clear, that's all it is."

HA! Famous last words.

I seriously loved this book! The title is a perfect fit for the storyline and Finn. That guy is into some dirty, dirty things, which includes some dirty talk. I really enjoyed that! One thing that I think makes me adore them even more is that they both are family people. I love the family dynamics that involve Harlow and her family. Her parents are big Hollywood hot shots but they aren't snobby or think they're better than everyone. From what I saw of Finn's family, they seem like a funny bunch and I would just love to get stories from his very hot brother's povs!

The sex is beyond hot and very kinky. Finn has a thing for rope...and Harlow. Put those two together, and well...you can put two and two together. Ha! The book isn't all about the sex which is great because I like stories to still have some kind of storyline. And this one didn't disappoint. I had to make myself put the book down one night because I needed sleep. But as soon as I woke up, I was right back up to reading.

Christina Lauren is becoming one of my go-to authors. I like that their characters have depth, the story lines keep me interested, and they can seriously write some steamy scenes that may make you want to take a cold one. I'm just saying. Fans of the first book, as well as The Beautiful Bastard series, will not be disappointed in the newest edition to the Wild Season series. If you love angst and hot men...need I say more?
