Now I spend my days searching for the answers that will ruin Sarah and my nights falling in love with her sister—the one person who is bound and determined to save her.

I met Sarah Kate Erickson when I was twenty-one years old. I was lucky enough to keep her for seven years before a tragic accident stole her from me. She didn’t die, but sometimes I think it would have been easier if she had.

I lived in a haze for those four years after the accident. Catering to her every need, even though she hated the very sight of my face. I tried to hold on to her and the future that we were supposed to build together. But you can’t hold on to someone that doesn’t exist anymore.

It wasn’t until I met Jesse Addison, a barista at the local coffee shop, that I realized I didn’t just lose Sarah that tragic night, I lost myself as well. Jesse taught me how to let go of the past and learn to love again. But what happens when your past haunts your present, and the woman you used to love refuses to accept the woman you can’t live without?

About the Author:

I’m a 32 year old wife and stay at home mom to four kids under the age of five, including a set of twins. My life is crazy, which is probably why I drink entirely too much wine. Oh who am I kidding, I had a love affair with wine long before the kids came along. I was born and raised in Savannah Georgia, but we recently moved to Chicago. Let me tell you, this southern girl was not ready for the cold weather up here!

I’m an avid reader, but I haven’t always been that way. A few years ago my sister loaned me her Nook Color, and it changed my life forever. In the span of about two years, I read over 500 books. My newfound love of reading led me to start a book blog with two of my best friends. (Insert shameless plug here: Through WZ Bookends, I've had the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing authors, bloggers, and readers out there. Now that I have taken the leap into writing my own book, they’ve all shown me endless amounts of encouragement and support.

While driving home from Walmart one day in late October, a story embedded itself in my head and would not let go. It spiraled out of control until I finally opened my laptop and started writing. This journey has been a wild ride filled with tears, hand cramps, and tons of laughs. I love company, so follow me at one of the social links below and join me aboard this crazy train!

Blog Tour Review-Take Me For Granted by K.A. Linde

Manwhore. Adrenaline junkie. Lead singer of ContraBand. What you see is what you get. I make no apologies for my actions, and by now no one expects any from me. I live my life the way I want and as long as it pushes the demons back, then I'm solid. I've never needed a chick for more than a good lay. Why would I need just one when I can have a different one every night?

Until she walks into my world.

Mouthy. Perfectionist. Princeton student. Chemistry major. Yes, that pretty much describes me. Oh, and virgin. But I'm only nineteen, and have more important things to concern myself with. What really matters is finishing my degree and getting a good job. I’ve worked hard for what I want, and do what’s expected of me. I don’t need anyone to get in my way.

Until he opens up my world.

But if I give you my world, whatever you do…don’t TAKE ME for granted.

I loved this book so much! Anything rocker is great by my standards though. Some girls like alpha males, some like the tortured billionaire; me, well I love the sexy rocker.

Grant is no different. He is the type of guy who likes his lifestyle and he lives is right. You know, the booze, the drugs, and the woman. Oh the women are endless. He's had so many, he doesn't even know how many he's actually been with it. It all changed the day he meets goody two shoe Aribel.

Aribel is very in to academics. So much so that she spends all her time studying. One night her friends get her to go to a local bands concert. Contraband.

Everyone knows who Contraband is. After all, Grant is the lead singer.

The night Ari and Grant meet is priceless. He's never met anyone like her. She won't give him a chance... Why would she want a "loser" rocker when she could have someone her family actually approved of.

Take Me For Granted is a a book that will have you laughing and swooning. A good combination in my book! I couldn't help but picture Howard's wife from The Big Bang Theory as Aribel.

If you like sexy rockers and books with great all around characters. This book is for you. Make sure you get your copy soon.

Blog Tour Review: Drifting Into Darkness by J.M. La Rocca

      DiD Blog Tour Banner
I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, that there was a path we were all supposed to be on and the choices we made led us to those paths. My path led me to work on the Johnson farm in Texas, where I met Landon, the owner’s son. He worked there during the day and raced cars for fun at night. He was a bad boy with a reputation that exceeded my own. The guy all the girls wanted to change, the one that hooked up with random girls because he didn’t do relationships. He was exactly the kind of guy I wanted to stay away from, but there was something about him. It wasn’t just his looks, although they didn’t go unnoticed. There were layers I wanted to peel back and reveal. I wanted to know the real Landon Johnson. All the choices I made led me to him and he would change my life forever.

"Landon was the kind of man who stayed with you always, the kind of man who could change your life forever."

Drifting Into Darkness is a story filled with true love, hope, and learning the hard way of how to live your life the way YOU want to live it.

A story that's full of so much joy, heartache, and of course the sexiest man alive. Hehe

Is it any wonder how or why I'm finding it hard to write this very review? I have tears in my eyes just thinking about how beautiful DiD is.

Sadie has just been broken up with by her boyfriend if six years and her family is moving from Chicago to Texas. In Texas, where Sadie meets Lisa at the admissions office at a&m, she gets offered a job to work at a family ranch. The family ranch that just so happens to house the Johnson Boys.

At the infamous ranch she meets the whole Johnson family including Landon, who isn't as nice as his family. He's actually kind of a jerk. An intriguing jerk though.

One who is known for being a playboy. An intriguing jerky playboy. Despite Landon at first, he grew on me. Sadie doesn't put up with his shit. I like a girl who can hold her own.

Sadie and Landon become friends. Friends who some how become more. It's a slow building yet equally satisfying love that burns oh so good! Their sexual tension aka love is off the charts hot. I mean he is a sexy race car driver!

That's what Landon really wants to do with his life. He wants to race cars, not take over the ranch like his family wants him to. I loved this aspect of the story because Sadie is in the same boat. She doesn't know what she wants to do with her life, but her dad sure wants to choose for her. Well, she wants to go to art school but her parents disapprove. I just love how Jennifer brings to light this kind of issue. A lot of young adults these days get trapped into trying to make everyone happy but they forget one thing...themselves.

Now the ending of the book was beautiful in an unconventional way. You'll understand once you read the book.

Overall, Drifting Into Darkness is the type of book that won't leave me anytime soon. I felt the characters, the plot, the writing style, the cover, were all perfectly woven into pure awesomeness. The cover and title alone are perfect for the story.

Go get your copy and fall in love with Sadie and Landon's story.

"You are my sunshine."

I pushed the door open and got out of the truck, happy to finally be home. I turned to say goodbye and thank him for the ride, but he had gotten out of the truck as well and was waiting for me in the front of it. I frowned and closed the door, walking slowly toward him so I wouldn’t trip over my own feet. It was hard enough trying to keep my head upright. I didn’t need to trip and fall on my face. “What are you doing?”
He smirked at me. “I’m walking you to your door. I’d hate to get you home safe, only to have to fall down the steps when you got here.”
He had a point, I thought as I snorted and slapped him in the chest. “Well, I guess ya didn’t fail charm school after all,” I drawled in a horrible southern accent, which caused him to laugh. Oh, God, I really need to go inside and away from him before I embarrass myself even more.
I walked toward the stairs with Landon following behind me. As soon as I took the first step, I stumbled and fell forward, but quickly grabbed onto the railing before I sustained any real damage. Jesus, I don’t think I’ve ever been this drunk before. Note to self: never drink Lisa’s drink concoctions again. Landon’s hands were on me as soon as I fell and he hauled me up, wrapping his arm around my waist.
“See, now aren’t you glad I was here?” he stated sarcastically.
I looked up at him and rolled my eyes. “Yes, Landon, you are now my knight in shining armor,” I giggled.
He chuckled and held me close, helping me up the rest of the stairs. I couldn’t help but notice how nice he smelled being nestled against his side either. Somewhere in my drunken haze, I knew that under normal circumstances I wouldn’t smell him up, but since this wasn’t normal circumstances, I smelled him without shame. I was sure he noticed too since I literally stuck my nose on his shirt and took a big whiff, causing him to laugh softly.
As we got to the last step, I pulled away from his hold and dug my keys out of my small satchel. “Thanks for giving me a ride and helping me up the stairs,” I said as I opened up my door. I stepped inside and turned to face him, giving him a drunken smile that I’m sure looked anything but. “I’ll see you on Monday,” I blurted before I closed the door and locked it.
I took my satchel off and tossed it on the couch before heading to the kitchen for a bottle of water and some aspirin. Then I dove head first into my bed, knowing tomorrow I’d have one hell of a hangover.

Dirty Deeds by Karina Halle!!!

Title: Dirty Deeds (Dirty Angels #2)
Author: Karina Halle

“He’s fearless and ruthless. Soulless.”

As a flight attendant, Alana Bernal has had her share of suitors. She's also had more than her fair share of tragedy within her messed-up family. But what she hasn't had is love. Real, rip-your-heart-out, tear-your-clothes-off, all-consuming love.

At least that was the case until she met an American tourist, Derek Conway, a ripped ex-soldier with steely eyes and a commanding presence.

What started as a chance encounter between the two in Puerto Vallarta, a weekend full of hot sex and mindless passion, has led to something more.

Something deadly.

Because Derek isn't the type of man to fall in love. He's not a man who sticks around.

And he's definitely not in Mexico on vacation.

Derek is a mercenary, a killer-for-hire, a man who does the ugly jobs for the highest bidder.

Unfortunately for Alana and Derek, the highest bidder has the power to destroy whatever worlds they have created for themselves.

The highest bidder can destroy everything.
